Initial Visit


During our initial visit to your home, we will come prepared with market analysis, complete with homes currently “active” on the market, homes that are “pending” or under contract but not closed, and “sold” properties within the last 3 or 6 months. This list, along with the basic details of your home from public record, will allow us to have a potential value range for which your home may be able to be listed.


Along with your guidance, we will tour your home and property, taking notes of any updates or improvements that you have completed during your ownership, as well as point out items that we suggest that you address prior to listing your home for sale.


Upon completion of the home tour, we will have a candid conversation with you about the value range of your home and where it may fall based on different items we’ve seen on the tour. Our goal is to be part of your team in order to best set you up for maximizing the value of your home in the market!


Preparing “Prepping” Your Home


At the end of our initial visit to your home, we will have suggestions of varied levels of work or improvements that you may want to complete prior to listing your home. These suggestions could range from basic decluttering of the home, to repainting rooms, to completing renovations! Each of these suggestions will have a varied impact on the potential value of your home, and we will be there along the way in order to guide you in prioritizing work.


Setting the Listing or “Asking” Price


Next to choosing the right broker **Castleknock of course**, the most important aspect in getting your home sold is going to market at the correct price! Your Castleknock agent will work with you to try to reach that “sweet” spot for price in the market, balancing all of the work you have done, the current market conditions, and the appropriate strategy, depending on your goals for selling your home.
